Missed In-Person 2024 County Officials Workshops (COWS)? Register for Virtual Option!

If you missed the in-person 2024 County Officials Workshops (COWS), there is still time to register for the virtual option, being held June 3, 10 and 17.

This training is offered to Wisconsin county officials by UW-Madison, Extension – Local Government Education Program and the Wisconsin Counties Association.

REGISTER HERE FOR VIRTUAL OPTION (attend all three sessions)

June 3, 2024 – 8:30 a.m. – 10:20 a.m.
June 10, 2024 – 8:30 a.m. – 10:55 a.m.
June 17, 2024 – 8:30 a.m. – 10:35 a.m.

These workshops are a unique opportunity for newly elected county government officials and veterans of the county board to learn from experienced educators about best practices and how to avoid the pitfalls of governance.

REGISTER TODAY
The cost to attend is $75. If you are registering after May 27 for the virtual option, please note cost increases to $85. The program runs from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Once registered, attendees will be mailed the training materials and emailed the Zoom link.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
A full refund will be made if notice of cancellation is received in writing or by fax seven days prior to the workshop. No-shows will not receive a refund, but materials can be sent. Any person requiring special accommodations should contact the Local Government Center (608.785.9763) at least 72 hours before the scheduled workshop date so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
